Antimatter was formed out of the ashes of Alternative 4 era Anathema in 1998 by Duncan Patterson and Mick Moss. Their debut album 'Saviour' received critical acclaim throughout Europe and the USA upon release in 2001, earning Antimatter Best Newcomer and Best Album of the year in Psycho! magazine, Italy.

The project has moved from genre to genre with every release, touching upon post rock, dark acoustic neo-folk, electronica, and progressive rock, setting the tone for over a decade of dark introspective music.
